Casey Carlyle is a shy high school student, but she learns very well. Her mother, Joan Carlyle, does not accept compromises and is more likely that her daughter will go to Harvard. The problem is that Casey is fond of figure skating and is not so sure if she wants to go on the road chosen by her mother. When everything seem to get more complicated a new character interfere - Tina Harwood, who believes in Casey's talent.
