It is the oldest road and it is well know due to the multitude of  lime trees ...

That's why Galati is known also as  " The city of the lime trees "  which is also the title of the song below , sung by a singer, Vasile Seicaru,  originated from our city.

As a detail his wife, Gabriela Seicaru ,  was my teacher of German classes in the secondary school ... May she rest in peace !

Bazat pe romanul scris de Nicholas Sparks, Message In A Bottle spune povestea Theresei Osborne, redactor la ziarul Chicago Tribune. Dupa ce fiul acesteia pleaca in vizita la fostul ei sot infidel, Theresa hotaraste sa plece singura intr-o vacanta.
Intr-o zi, in timp ce alerga pe malul marii, gaseste o sticluta lasata de valuri in nisip. Dupa ce o deschide, Theresa descopera inauntru o scrisoare de dragoste extrem de emotionanta. Intoarsa la ziar, ea isi convinge seful sa publice un articol despre misteriosul expeditor. Theresa incepe sa il caute pe acesta, iar dupa intense cercetari ale scrisului si drumului pe care l-ar fi avut sticla, il gaseste intr-un final pe Garret Blake, un barbat din Carolina de Nord, care nu si-a mai putut reveni dupa tragica moarte a sotiei lui. De atunci, Garret a scris numeroase scrisori sotiei sale moarte, le-a pus in sticle si le-a aruncat in mare.


Petrecand foarte mult timp impreuna, Theresa se indragosteste de acesta, dar nu ii spune ca stia deja de scrisori. Garret, incurajat de tatal lui Dodge, isi deschide din nou sufletul si incepe sa tina la ea. When her son went to  visit her  exhusband , Theresa decided to go alone on a  vacation . One day , while she was running on the beach , she found  out a bottle in the sand . She opened the bottle and discoverred there an extremelt touching love letter. When she returns to the magazine  she persuated her boss to allow her  to publish  an article about the mysterious sender of that letter. She started to search for him ....Finally she reached at him - Garret Blake , a man from  North Carolina, who is still  grieving for his dead wife ,Catherine. After her dea he continued to write to her letters which he put into the bottles  swhich he sent into the sea ....

Spending a lot of time together , Theresa falls in love with Garret, but she doesnt tell him  what she knew about the letters . On the other hand, Garret , being encouraged by his father , opened his soul  and shared his feelings to her ... Theresa went back to Chicago, Garret went there also to visit her ..there he realized that she  knew abt the letters and hide that from him ...Both of them suffered a lot from love , therefore they have to decide if their relationship has any future ...
