When a worldly singer witnesses a mob crime, the police hide her as a
nun in a traditional convent where she has trouble fitting in. It is an excellent comedy hmmm please trust me :D , because I've watched this movie more than once and I didn't get bored at all :)
Actually my favorite is the second part where Whoopi is playing a very very touching role : a music school teacher dealing with a group of difficult teenagers .

Self-involved corporate raider Edward Lewis (Richard_Gere) has recently
split up with his girlfriend. Seeking directions to the Beverly Hills
Hotel, he makes the acquaintance of free-spirited hooker Vivian Ward
(Julia_Roberts) and decides to put her on a 3,000-dollar retainer as his
“date.” He Cinderellarizes her by bankrolling a full wardrobe and
cosmetic makeover. Of course, the setup will be strictly platonic. A
disarming modern-day fairy tale, Pretty Woman was the picture that made
Julia_Roberts a superstar. As charming as she is in her “giggling”
sequences, Roberts’ best scene is her triumphant return to a posh Rodeo
Drive shop where she’d been previously snubbed. Keeping Pretty Woman
afloat throughout is the buoyant direction of Garry_Marshall and the
always welcome presence of Marshall’s stock company of actors, including
Hector_Elizondo as a stuffy but golden-hearted concierge. Pretty Woman
began its life as a much darker story of prostitutes and homicidal drug
dealers, but more box-office-savvy heads ultimately prevailed.

Change of Plans – Schimbare De Planuri (2011)
Change of Plans focuses on a couple that happens to be completely
married to their careers: one is an aspiring singer named Sally, while
her husband, Jason, designs high-tech planes for the government.
Just as both of their careers are about to take turns for the better, Sally receives a shocking phone call: one of her closest friends has passed away, naming her as the sole guardian to the deceased woman’s child.
To complicate matters, Sally realizes that the woman’s family has grown to include three more children that were adopted from different third-world countries from around the globe. Rather than see this family unit split up, the couple agrees to take all four kids into their home until somebody can be found to adopt them all together.
